Menéndez Pelayo Digital y logos de la Fundación Ignacio Larramendi y de DIGIBÍS

The overall coordination of  “Menéndez Pelayo Digital", has been been undertaken by Tachi Larramendi, of Digibis,  partly supported by the Tavera Historic Foundation, of Ignacio González Casasnovas. We are grateful for the unconditional support of Joaquín van den Brule, Director General of Digibis.

The Scientific Coordination was taken care of by Xavier Agenjo Bullón, Director of the Menéndez Pelayo Library, and Ignacio González Casasnovas.

The  role played by Alicia Varela (Digibis) has been decisive in the complex process of documentary organisation that the "Menéndez Pelayo Digital” has represented, she took over the supervision of the proofreaders’ work, quality control and all the preparation of texts for their electronic processing. Almudena de la Fuente, Pilar Ruiz, Nuria Ruano, Montserrat Martinez and David Robledo also collaborated in the quality control, the proofreading of some texts and other work. Celia Cruz Prados was in quality control and in different post proofreading processes.

Under Alicia Varela’s management, the following people worked, in the OCR proofreading texts in the volumes of the Complete Works and the Collection of Letters: Antonio Alcaide Domingo, Luis Miguel Alcega Barroeta, Begoña Alvarez Palma, Isabel Cambero Llorente, Cristina Campos Morales, Belén Chanes Gálvez, Rosa Mª Colodrás, José Antonio Cortés Saavedra, Mª Luz Fernández Pérez, Fernando Gallego Mata, Fernando García Martín, Nuria Ibáñez Castañeda, Miguel Angel López Dávila, Helena Matas Romero, Mª José San Román Polanco, Begoña Monge Sancho, Javier Monge Sancho, Rosa Mª Moraleda, Mª Gloria Martín Palomo, Pilar Martín Revilla, José María Pardillo Larena, Antonio Pardillo Mayora, Víctor Peralta, Teresa Queipo de Llano, Julia Ramos Cabañero, Juan Salguero Algaba, Manuel Francisco Viso Parra and SAIFER C. The various and elaborate computer programming solutions that have been developed to satisfactorily resolve the programme, would not have been possible without the participation of Jesus Dominguez (Cibeles Software). In Digibis, María Fernández Rey was also responsible for a good part of the initial computer design and the development of the working tools for the proof reading processes. During the entire implementation process, Alberto García Hidalgo providedhis permanent IT support to the documentation department, while Marcos Martin offered himself, as always, to solve the many problems that arose in the course of the project.

Ana Sojo was in charge of preparing the extensive and detailed texts of the help menus included in the disc.

Finally, the design of the covers and back covers, both of the case as well as the disc, was undertaken by Cyan, by, Marta Rodríguez, while Montserrat Martínez (Digibis) took up the initial design of the label and the preparation of the logos.
