The Salamanca School represents not just the name applied to a body of work by a group of important economists, philosophers, and legal scholars but also, from the standpoint of the FHL Virtual Libraries, a major technical advance clearly in line with Linked Open Data.

Thus, a school of thinkers linked with such other major schools as the Austrian School of economics is also the first application of Linked Open Data technology in Spain.
