The Catholic Church and charity

The Foundation carries out a range of cooperative, sponsorship, and patronage activities affiliated with those of the Catholic Church. Chief among these are its cooperation for the digital publication of Alpha & Omega, a Catholic information weekly put out by the Saint Augustine Foundation set up by the Archdiocese of Madrid. Four volumes have been published to date (the last in 2007).


Vol. 1. Consists of two CDs, one containing a database for numbers 1 to 375 and the other numbers 1 to 100 in PDF format.

Vol. 2. Consists of two CDs, one containing numbers 101 to 240 and the other numbers 241 to 375, all in PDF format.

Vol. 3. Consists of two CDs, one containing a database and PDF files with the 40 numbers from an earlier period before the weekly was circulated with the Spanish daily ABC and the other containing PDF files with 24 Alpha & Omega Documents booklets released as inserts with the weekly.

Vol. 4. Consists of two CDs, one containing a database for numbers 1 to 500 and the other containing numbers 376 to 500 in PDF format.

Charitable activities

The Foundation also carries out strictly charitable activities to help the underprivileged, small monastic societies, needy religious orders and institutions, and a variety of charity projects, making regular donations since 1990 in amounts generally not exceeding 1,000 euros per year each.
